POSSIBILITIES OF BALANCE BETWEEN THE RATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS OF MAN

Abstract

If we consider individual directions of modern philosophy, the changes and transformations that take place in religious philosophy are of particular interest. In part, the process of evolution of religious philosophy at the end of the XX century - the beginning of the XXI century can be explained by the fact that against the background of accelerating social dynamics, both human individuality and the life destiny of an individual are becoming more and more problematic. Scientific progress allows us to see a person as more complex than previously imagined: a person is not reduced to a natural evolutionary process, but reveals himself as a unique phenomenon of reality. In this connection, human views involuntarily turn to religion as well, since the religious vision of reality with its transcendentalism allows us to see it involved in the special, very first and basic principles of being. Scientists and representatives of the church and religion began to ask a whole series of questions. The main one of them is the following: "isn't it time, before it's too late, to develop cooperation in order to restore the balance between man and nature? Isn't it time to intensify efforts for the sake of intelligent and wise management of the world, to stand together against scientist politics, to try to restore the balance between the rational and spiritual dimensions of man? Actually, we will try to find this out in our investigation.
