Abstract

The article analyzes the interrelation between the development of transhumanism and its impact on traditional philosophical and cultural paradigms. It highlights how the continuous growth of technological capabilities, from gene editing to the development of augmented reality, initiates a rethinking of fundamental ideas of human identity, freedom, morality, and ethics. The focus of the work is on the dynamics of relationships between progressive technological ideas of transhumanists and the fundamental principles of humanism. The diversity of approaches within the transhumanist movement is studied and described, emphasizing both commonalities and differences with traditional humanistic views. Special attention is paid to the impact of transhumanism on the reforming of modern culture, analyzing how transhumanist ideas transform traditional perceptions of human nature and its role in the world. The study examines how recent technological advancements that expand the boundaries of the possible, influence ethical norms and values in society, posing new challenges for philosophy, ethics, and culture as a whole. Potential risks and ethical dilemmas arising from rapid technological progress and the impact of these changes on the future of humanity are also considered. Key aspects of transhumanism, particularly its impact on the idea of human autonomy, individuality, and social justice, are highlighted. Specific examples of technological innovations that have contributed to the development of transhumanist ideas are examined, and their impact on everyday human life is analyzed. The role and significance of information technology, biotechnology, and other areas that have been key to the development of transhumanism are identified. Attention is given to the social and cultural aspects of transhumanism, analyzing its impact on societal relations, politics, and the economy. Issues of social justice, resource distribution, and possible future scenarios of humanity's development in the context of transhumanist technologies are discussed. The article concludes with reflections on how modern society can adapt to these inevitable changes while preserving its fundamental values. This analysis is an important contribution to understanding the complex dynamics between technological innovations, cultural changes, and philosophical doctrines in the modern world.
