The article analyzes the role of architect Christopher Wren in shaping the architecture of London in the early Modern Ages period. The main details of rebuilding London after the 1666 “Great Fire” are highlighted. This has completely changed the medieval appearance of the city and identified new trends in the European architectural development and still constitutes the historical and architectural heritage of London.
