The variability of the modern world has a direct connection with globalization and globalization processes. Cultural globalization is a logical continuation and consequence of the openness of economic, political, migration, communication systems, etc. It has both its advantages and its disadvantages. And it begins «to speak» only when a person directly encounters it or is influenced by it, such as in the matter of identification and self-identification of a person. Or scientists face it when they do not know what the only correct strategy can be to avoid its harmful actions and consequences. Thus, within the scope of this investigation, we will try to outline the range of dilemmas that exist around the problem of self-identification in the dynamic and changing system of the modern world. After all, when it comes to the question of self-identification, one can drift with the flow, constantly complaining about the world and succumbing to or getting lost in this vortex of change. Or you can go on a purposeful journey with the awareness of all its dangers in relation to your own cultural identity. In the work, we will proceed from the opinion that self-identification is a process that depends not only on the person. If internal identity depends on a person and the interaction of his self with the surrounding world, then self-identification on a global scale is formed due to the demarcation of personal identity at the level of reflection and personal identification at the level of external self-expression. The extreme is often subject to all kinds of influences, since a person, being included in global world processes, is also attached to a specific symbolic system through which he defines himself. That is why we will try to outline the field of problematic issues on the way to human self-identification in a dynamic, changing world.
