Abstract

The article is a socio-philosophical study of current model of historical effectiveness of a man in the value-semantic context of social needs of the postmodern world. It is stated that society turns to understanding the ontological foundations of its activity when there is a need for the latest means of activating human resources for the sake of preserving its national and historical foundation of existence in the global coordinate system. It has been found that the mechanism of constructing models of actual socio-historical effectiveness of a man includes the practice of reflexive temporal modality, which overcomes the limits of linear ideas about the global historical process and takes into account the selection procedure of shifting time horizons. It is specifically determined that the phenomenon of historical effectiveness is a way of functioning of social rationality, which is realized due to the formation of social institutions and the recognized structure of values. The main thing is that the awareness of the historical moment based on the analysis of the situational relevance of specific social needs of society provides an opportunity to predict the development of events in the future. It is shown that the practice of researching the adaptable interdependence between social structures and time horizons, under the condition of actualizing the historical effectiveness of a man, comprehensively reveals worldview meanings and values of social life in a certain territory, which provides a prognostic character of future perspectives of socio-cultural transformations on a planetary scale.
