The article examines the relationship between religious faith and a person's psycho-emotional state, in particular in conditions of increased tension and aggression. It reveals how religious beliefs and practices influence a person's perception of stressful situations, the formation of his emotional reactions and behavior in conflict situations. The results of the study constitute a new approach to understanding the interaction between religion and the human psyche, and also expand knowledge about the mechanisms by which religion influences our perception of the world and ourselves in it. The data obtained can be used to develop psychological assistance programs aimed at using religious resources to overcome stress and increase psychological resilience. Based on empirical research and theoretical developments, various mechanisms have been identified by which religion influences the perception of conflict, motivation for violence, and the search for meaning in suffering. The issues of psychological support, spiritual guidance, and interreligious dialogue in the context of overcoming conflicts are considered. The article explores how religious faith can serve as both a resource and a barrier in the process of overcoming the consequences of aggression. Based on an analysis of the scientific literature, practical recommendations are offered for religious leaders and psychologists aimed at the effective use of religious resources in the process of psychosocial rehabilitation of conflict victims. The article is relevant in the modern world, when armed conflicts, terrorism and other forms of violence are growing. Post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, states of despair are all inherent in people under stress. It is faith that helps to overcome these difficulties and forms an incentive for life, and the church remains one of the leading institutions in terms of trust in society.
