INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL RELOCATION AS A FACTOR IN FORMING INNOVATIVE CULTURAL PRACTICES

Abstract

The article examines the issue of international cultural relocation as a factor in the formation of innovative cultural practices using the example of the activities of representatives of Ukrainian culture and arts after the beginning of the open phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war (from February 24, 2022). It was found that international cultural relocation contributed to the emergence of new forms and formats of cultural practices; the intensification of creative intercultural collaboration with artists from countries of residence and the establishment of new creative associations by Ukrainians. It was found that innovative cultural practices caused by international cultural relocation, which is due to the beginning of the active phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war, are directly related to the digitalization of the culture and art industry. In the case of the activities of creative collectives, this involves strengthening communication through social networks and expanding the services offered on official websites (including providing access to online viewing of performances, etc.). Show business stars and representatives of the creative intelligentsia in conditions of international relocation, in addition to traditional ones, also offer new formats of cultural products mediated by social media. The main narrative of cultural practices is the Russian-Ukrainian war, the heroic rebuff of the enemy by the Ukrainian people, the unity of Ukrainians for the sake of preserving the unity of Ukraine, the importance of stopping the aggressor with the assistance and support of the world community, etc. It is stated that the activities of Ukrainians in the context of international cultural relocation are an important means of drawing the attention of the world community to the war in Ukraine, evidence of the unity of the Ukrainian people and a factor in strengthening national identity. It is emphasized that every cultural product, practice and service is, to one degree or another, a reception of events taking place on the territory of Ukrainian lands as a result of the actions of the aggressor country.
