Abstract

Philosophical analysis of scientific and technical risks associated with the development of new technologies and scientific discoveries is a relevant and important task in modern society. One of the key issues is examining the interaction between science, technology, and society from the perspective of philosophical ethics. The question arises of how scientific discoveries and technological progress can impact human society, the natural environment, and individuals themselves. Another aspect involves investigating the responsibility of scientists and technologists in creating new technologies. If new discoveries may lead to negative consequences for society or the environment, how should they be evaluated from the standpoint of philosophical ethics? How can risks be adequately considered and minimized? Philosophical analysis of scientific and technical risks provides an opportunity to deeply understand the impact of science and technology on contemporary society and contributes to the development of principles and norms that can help manage this development from an ethical standpoint. The research aims to philosophically analyze scientific and technical risks arising from the development of new technologies and scientific discoveries. The study is based on philosophical approaches focused on understanding the essence of risks and their impact on society and the ethics of science. The research method/approach involves a systematic analysis of risk concepts, philosophical exploration of ethical issues, and the influence of new technologies on society. Research results indicate the necessity of establishing ethical frameworks in technology development, as the analysis reveals possible consequences of using new technologies and identifies key risk aspects. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the development of philosophical concepts of risks in the field of science and technology, which can be used to formulate ethical standards. The practical significance lies in the possibility of applying recommendations in the formulation of ethical principles for the development and implementation of new technologies in modern society. The uniqueness of the study is evident in its profound philosophical analysis of scientific and technical risks and their impact on societal ethics. Future research prospects include the development of new philosophical concepts of risks and a deeper analysis of the ethical aspects of specific technological developments. The article type is theoretical, emphasizing the philosophical aspect of analyzing scientific and technical risks.
